When you study Spanish in Santo Domingo, you'll have the opportunity to live with a Dominican family or in a school apartment.
The vast majority of homes are within a 10-20 minute walk from the school; the maximum distance is 40 minutes.
The great advantage of living with a host family is that you'll get the chance to practice Spanish at home with patient native speakers. We carefully choose host families based on the quality of their home and, most of all, their kind attitude towards foreign students.
