Face–to-face Spanish teacher training

Methodology Course

This Face –to- face Spanish teacher training is aimed at Spanish teachers who teach Spanish both abroad and in immersion. The program covers the essential aspects of the didactics of foreign languages in general, and of the teaching-learning process of ELE in particular, such as the didactics of grammar and vocabulary, the integration of culture and pragmatics in the classroom, the use of new technologies, the way children, adolescents and adults learn, the scheduling of classes and the recreational component.

In addition, the course is complemented by the observation of Spanish classes and the exchange of experiences with the teachers of the center. The course is also enriched by the experience of linguistic and cultural immersion.

José Ramón Rodríguez

Expert in ELE • Teaching, Training, Creation

Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Philology (University of Malaga), and Diploma of Advanced Studies in Methods for the Study of Hispanic Literature of the twentieth century (University of Malaga). Master's degree in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (Universidad Antonio de Nebrija) and Expert in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language to Children and Teenagers (University of Barcelona).

Spanish teacher since 2000. He has worked at Málaga Sí (2000-2014, where he was academic director from 2004 to 2014) and at Enforex Málaga (2004-present, where he serves as academic coordinator), both centers are accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. He has taught ELE classes to students of all ages and all levels, as well as courses for specific purposes and DELE preparation. He is an accredited DELE examiner for all levels.

He is the author of Meta ELE (Edelsa, 6 levels), an ELE method for adult learners, Instantes (Edelsa, 4 levels), an ELE method for teenagers and secondary school students, A medida (Anaya, 3 levels) and En Plural (Anaya, 5 levels). He also collaborates with the Instituto Avanzado de ELE, where he is responsible for the department of didactic activities.

As a teacher trainer, he has given didactic workshops and lectures at didactic conferences, meetings and congresses in Spain (Malaga, Madrid, Seville, Ceuta...), abroad (Milan, Lisbon, Belo Horizonte, Katowice, Sofia, Hamburg, Rome, Amsterdam, Brussels, Warsaw, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Basel...) and online.

He has been a tutor of courses of the CFP of the Instituto Cervantes on digital competence and creation of didactic materials and of Didactics of ELE for children and teenagers in the Master of Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language at UNIBA.

Isabel Bueso

Academic Director • Director of Institutional Relations

Bachelor’s Degree in Hispanic Philology (Universidad de Alcalá in Spain and Durham University in UK). She also has a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language –ELE- (Universidad de Alcalá).

She is, among other functions, director of the evaluation team of the Enforex and don Quijote centers in Spain and Latin America, chief examiner of DELE exams, expert witness of the TSJ of Madrid, responsible for the Corporate Social Responsibility of the company and trainer of the academic teams of the schools of the Ideal group and academic director of the ENFOREX camps.

In her role as a teacher trainer, she has given didactic workshops and lectures at didactic conferences, meetings and congresses at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Universidad de Lisboa, Universidad de Viena, ASELE and international teacher training courses at Instituto Cervantes and Alcalingua.

Co-author of Prisma, Prisma Nuevo, Club prisma, Prisma ECO, Prisma ECO, Está claro. Author of several articles and materials specialized in Spanish as a Foreign Language such as Gramática Básica del español, Ejercicios para practicar la gramática, Diferencia de usos gramaticales entre el español peninsular y el español de América, Usos gramaticales contrastivos de español e inglés.
