Nothing says summer like splashing around in the water. Kids and teens who want to learn how to swim or improve their stroke can enjoy swimming lessons in the afternoons.
Not only will they get more time in the pool, which is always nice during the summer, they'll also gain an important life skill.
The first step of swimming is to feel comfortable in the water. Campers who are just starting out will being by learning to float and practicing kicking and arm movements. When they're ready, they'll advance to breathing and basic swimming techniques.
Campers already comfortable with the basics will focus on polishing their technique (crawl, breaststroke, backstroke) and work on starting, turns, and more.
