Enforex Valencia: 10 years of stories

The only way to learn a language is by expanding your horizons and our students know this because they come from all over the world to experience Spanish culture. Thanks to them we are celebrating our tenth birthday.

Since we have so many memories and stories after years of sharing language and culture, we’ve decided to offer a small tribute to you, our students.

Do you remember the first day of class…the day you landed at Valencia airport and stepped on Spanish ground for the first time? Some of you already knew something about Spain, while others knew nothing at all (“ni papa” as we would say in Spain).

Most of you didn’t know anyone when you arrived, and many of you were probably nervous about being surrounded by so many new people. But then you made friends from around the world, each with a different story to tell, but with a common language: Spanish. You got to know people from Russia, Italy, Germany, China and many other countries; but more than anything you had an experience, improved your Spanish and had the chance to live out a dream.

How long ago was all that? That was up to 10 years ago in September. Was it that long ago! Some of you can perhaps speak Spanish perfectly now thanks to a girlfriend who you met in Spain, or a distant cousin who moved to live with you.

Whatever the situation, you know that your stay was fun, and you not only learned (some better than others) the second most spoken language in the world, but you have also lived some unique experiences at Enforex. Here are some of your own memories:

El primer día conocí a mis mejores amigas. Me divertí mucho en clase. Estaba difícil, más me gustó. Después, cenamos juntos en un restaurante, y fuimos a karaoke, con nuestros otros amigos. Cantamos y bailamos mucho (Andreas Lloya)

¡Mi primer día era absolutamente excelente! Primeramente estaba bastante nerviosa, porque alrededor de mí eran muchos desconocidos. Pero en un momento conocí a unas muchachas: una de Francia y otra como yo de Rusia. Me gustaba mi profesora también, hablaba lento, no como toda la gente en España. Me encantaba hablar de mi vida y también escuchar la vida de mis compañeros de clase: los italianos, los alemanes, los chinos y los rusos. ¡No olvidaré este día fenomenal! (Arina)

El primer día que llegué aquí, estaba muy nerviosa para hacer el test. Además, como yo acababa de llegar aquí, no conocía nada sobre la escuela y Valencia. Pero también, estaba muy contenta. Es que yo había querido estudiar en España desde hacía muchos años. Estaba alegre de que mi sueño se hubiera cumplido. Ya he estado cinco meses en Valencia. Creo que mi español ha mejorado. Los profesores son muy simpáticos. Siempre nos enseñan y explican con paciencia. Aunque el estudio es muy duro, ahora estoy muy feliz. (Chihiro Matsumoto)

Pensaba que mí primer día sería un poco duro: necesité hacer una prueba y encontrar mucha gente nueva. Pero gracias a todos los profesores (que son muy amables) ese día fue alucinante. Después de las clases tuvimos una excursión por la ciudad. Todo fue claro y muy curioso. Seguro que voy a volver a Valencia para practicar español. (Elizaveta Slasareva)

En mi primer día de clase yo tenía miedo de la prueba pero estaba muy ansiosa por conocer a mi profesora y a los estudiantes. La clase fue muy divertida y yo he hecho muchos amigos. Después de clase salímos y practicamos español. (Izabela Fironcischini)
