Word of the month... Condumio
It is interesting how the sound of some words seem to fit their meaning. In this case the pronunciation of “condumio” fills the mouth, so we do not fail to imagine that the word has something to do with food.
The exact meaning of “condumio” defines a delicacy or whatever is cooked that is eaten with bread. It would therefore mean that specific meals or dishes aren’t necessarily “condumio”, but today it means any kind of substantial or filling meal, although it is true it would seem a bit strange for us to be invited for a “condumio” and, if we are, it would sound funny.
Anyhow, it is another of those curious words that is perhaps destined to sit unused in a dictionary, but it should be protected.
